Thanks Imagine a racking system on wheels which you park in a busy area. This racking system would be able to store 9 cars (3 ground, 3 1st floor, and 3 top) Cars would be stacked using a special metal pallet and a forklift truck. In a busy town parking could cost £5 an hour for a space The racking system would stretch over 3 spaces costing £15 parking When full the racking system would make £30 per hour (45-15) If it was full all working day, roughly 8am-6pm (10 hrs), this would bring in £300 if constantly full. The forklift truck and man, would have to work all day but the cost of this could be reduced if there was one truck to more than one racking system. The man would only have a basic hourly rate, roughly £80 quid. So with a few of these on one busy street you could makeover £500 pound a day There is some problems- would the council let it happen? Would people trust the racking? (could be better though- thief proof) Insurance I think it’s a nice idea.
